Founded with the goal of providing small businesses with accurate, actionable financial guidance, Devin Akins helps clients simplify accounting, manage cash flow, and make informed decisions with confidence. With experience in multistate sales tax, intercompany and general ledger reconciliations, process improvement, and multi-million-dollar cash management, he brings a comprehensive skill set to every client engagement.
Before starting his own firm, Devin gained experience as a Staff Accountant at Air Culinaire Worldwide, managing Avalara and Dynamics 365 tax functionality, performing month-end and year-end journal entries, reconciling international accounts, and streamlining financial processes. He also worked as an Accounts Payable Clerk with General Dynamics, gaining hands-on experience with supplier relations and financial operations. Devin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Concordia University, (St. Paul, MN), and is committed to ongoing learning and excellence in his work.
When he’s not helping clients with their finances, he enjoys reading, writing, exploring parks, and spending time with his wife and five children.
